Microdosing, i.e. taking extremely small amounts of psychedelics on a regular basis, is all the rage. There are now ready-made but illegal "cures" that can be ordered to your home. The promise: more creativity, well-being and concentration. Krone+ spoke to a consumer.

We all learned at school that abusing illegal drugs is unhealthy and can be very dangerous. You have to expect side effects as the price for the high. These include physical complaints such as problems with blood pressure, nausea and dizziness. Depending on the substance and the amount, seizures, respiratory arrest and damage to organs can also occur. There is also a risk of panic attacks, delusions and permanent perceptual disorders. Many drugs are also psychologically or physically addictive. 

But what if you only consume tiny amounts of substances such as psilocybin, ketamine or the party drug MDMA, but do so on a daily basis over a long period of time?
