Oberpinzgau commuters get traffic lights

The traffic circle in Piesendorf-Fürth is a bottleneck, especially for commuters from Oberpinzgau. At peak times, the traffic jams on Mittersiller Straße (B168) are so bad that it is impossible to make any progress. 

A remedy is to be found in the fall. Gatekeeper traffic lights are to improve the flow of traffic, similar to those in Eugendorf.

The traffic lights allow cars to stop as needed before the traffic circle thanks to short red phases. Test operation with the gatekeeper traffic lights is due to start in October.
