Boy (10) drowned in Swedish amusement park

A ten-year-old boy has drowned in an amusement park in Sweden. The child was found lifeless by a lifeguard in a swimming pool.

He tried to resuscitate the boy - but without long-term success. The ten-year-old was flown by helicopter to hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.

It was initially unclear how the accident happened. The police emphasized that there was no suspicion of foul play. The accident occurred in an amusement park that opened in 1984 and is located near the small town of Skara and offers several water slides and roller coasters.
