Shoplifter knocked detective to the ground and fled

The police in Tyrol are investigating a case of robbery in Kufstein: a store detective had observed a trio carrying large quantities of alcoholic drinks out of the supermarket without paying. A previously unknown person pushed him to the ground. 

At around 1pm on Wednesday, a store detective noticed three previously unknown persons - a man, a woman and a male teenager - stealing a large quantity of alcoholic drinks from a supermarket in Kufstein.

The detective took up the pursuit. He was able to find the man and the woman in the store's parking lot and approach them about the theft, whereupon the man fled and the woman followed the detective back into the store after being asked to do so.

In the checkout area of the store, the fleeing man suddenly returned and pushed the detective down. Both suspects then fled from the store or in their car. An immediate search has so far been unsuccessful. Further investigations will follow.
