Hiker (69) broke her arm after falling on the mountain

Bad accident on Tuesday afternoon in Hinterriß (Schwaz district)! A hiker from Germany (69) fell on her tour and broke her forearm. She ended up in hospital.

The 69-year-old from Bavaria was hiking on a marked trail from the Binsalm in the direction of the Engalm in the Brantlboden area at around 1260 meters above sea level at around 3.35 pm.

The woman probably fell there through no fault of her own. She suffered a fractured forearm and a thigh injury. After first aid, she was flown to the hospital in Murnau by the emergency helicopter "C1".
