After the knife attack in Southport, a third child has died from her injuries. It was a nine-year-old girl, according to Merseyside Police. Singer Taylor Swift was deeply shocked by the brutal murder attack on the group of young Swifties. 

Taylor posted on her Instagram account the day after the horrific act by a teenager and expressed her condolences to the victims and their families.

"Completely shocked"
"The horror of yesterday's attack in Southport continues to wash over me and I am completely shocked. The loss of life and innocence and the horrific trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and the first responders. They were just little kids in a dance class. I am at a complete loss as to how to express my condolences to the families."

Knife attack on children's holiday course
The 17-year-old perpetrator, who was born in Cardiff, Wales, forced his way into a dance studio on Monday where a dance workshop for children aged seven to 11 was taking place, dancing to songs by US singer Taylor Swift, and stabbed the girls and the two dance teachers.

Two girls - aged six and seven - succumbed to their serious injuries on Monday, another girl, aged nine, died on Tuesday. Five others are seriously injured in hospital. The two dance teachers, who were still trying to protect the children, and two other children were also injured. 

The vacation course for children aged between six and eleven was fully booked with 25 participants, as the BBC reported. The program included a dance and yoga workshop as well as making bracelets like those worn by many Taylor Swift fans.

Mourners laid flowers and cuddly toys in the city between Liverpool and Blackpool. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift fans have already collected more than 71,000 euros for the funeral costs and to support the victims via a donation platform.
