Apple’s AI features appear later than planned

Apple is launching the announced artificial intelligence (AI) features for its smartphones and tablets later than expected, according to a media report.

These functions will not be available until October, after the market launch of the iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 operating systems planned for September, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Sunday, citing people familiar with the plans.

The so-called Apple Intelligence will be made available to software developers for testing with beta versions of the operating systems in the coming days.

Apple was initially unable to comment on the report. Apple had presented eagerly awaited AI functions at a developer conference in June. However, experts and investors reacted cautiously.
