In coach Dietmar Kühbauer's return to the WAC bench, Wolfsburg went on a scoring spree in the first round of the ÖFB Cup at Burgenland fourth-division side ASV Draßburg!

Thanks to an own goal from Marcel Etzelstorfer (5th) and goals from Thomas Sabitzer (24th), Thierno Ballo (32nd), Angelo Gattermayer (43rd), Erik Kojzek (69th, 87th) and Emmanuel Agyemang (85th), WAC celebrated a 7:0 victory.

David Toschewski (20th), Nicolas Binder (24th), Christopher Cvetko (30th) and Ben Bobzien (41st, 71st) scored in Austria Klagenfurt's 5-0 win at Lower Austrian neo-regional league side SV Gloggnitz.

Hartberg celebrate their biggest win of the day
Meanwhile, TSV Hartberg celebrated their biggest win of the day with an 11-1 victory at Salzburg regional league side SK Bischofshofen, with new signing Patrik Mijic scoring three times.

At Wiener Viktoria against DSV Leoben, there was a much-noticed coaching duel between Toni Polster and Carsten Jancker; in the end, Viktoria, coached by the ÖFB record goalscorer, had the better end in the regional league duel thanks to two penalty kicks converted by Dominik Rotter, winning 2:1 after extra time.

GAK only progress after penalty shoot-out
GAK's cup season was almost over early. The promoted Bundesliga side conceded the first goal early on in Villach against fourth-division side Velden in front of ÖFB President Klaus Mitterdorfer through Nicolas Modritz after a set piece (6th) and fell 2-0 behind through a shot from an acute angle by Marlon Winter (56th).

The comeback was successful thanks to Benjamin Rosenberger (69) and Dominik Frieser (74), who also converted the decisive penalty to make it 4:3.
