Surprising turn of events: Is the Bayern transfer off?

Jonathan Tah's transfer to FC Bayern was actually only considered a formality. But now the turning point: According to a report, negotiations between the Munich club and Bayer Leverkusen are at a standstill.

Is Jonathan Tah's move to FC Bayern Munich off? As reported by "Sport Bild", there is no agreement between the German record champions and Bayer Leverkusen. Last season's champions rejected an offer of 18 million euros from Munich.

Leverkusen want this transfer fee
40 million euros - that is the amount Leverkusen are reportedly demanding. Apparently they do not want to deviate from this. Tah was one of Bayer's guarantors of success last season and was also a regular in Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann's squad at the European Championships.

The 28-year-old is currently still on vacation. Tah is expected back for the start of Leverkusen's training camp in Donaueschingen on Sunday. Even though he had actually already ticked off the Bayer chapter ...
