An otherwise harmless argument between neighbors escalated on Monday night in an apartment building in Bregenz (Vorarlberg): a 51-year-old man grabbed a kitchen knife ... 

Because he felt the music in the neighboring apartment was too loud, a 30-year-old man knocked on his neighbor's door in an apartment building in Bregenz. He opened the door, but showed little sympathy for the complaint.  

An argument ensued, in the course of which the 51-year-old may have skipped a few escalation stages: Because he suddenly went back into the apartment and returned with a kitchen knife. He waved the weapon in front of his neighbor. He also threatened the 30-year-old verbally, the victim said. The music-loving neighbor was also very drunk. 

The alerted police finally arrested the 51-year-old and questioned him. He was then arrested and released.
