Nazi Santa Claus was to poison Jewish children

A terrorist leader planned a terrible attack in New York. But an FBI investigator was able to prevent it.

Mikhail Chkhikvishvili lives in New York and is the leader of an Eastern European neo-Nazi terrorist network. He regularly visited his grandmother in the borough of Brooklyn. But the 21-year-old was not only in the metropolis of millions because of his family: he wanted to look for recruits for his extreme right-wing terrorist network "Maniacs Murder Cult" (MMC).

As has now become known, the Georgian planned a particularly gruesome attack last Christmas. A disguised Santa Claus was to poison Jewish children with sweets.

He was looking for a suitable man for this terrible plan. And then the criminal made a mistake: he recruited an undercover FBI agent for the job. The authorities have been trying to stop the terrorist network for years.

Terrorist also planned arson
The agent gradually gained the terror Nazi's trust. As early as September 2023, the 21-year-old told of a "major mass murder within the United States". "Poisoning and arson" were said to be the best options, the criminal was quoted as saying in an FBI document.

Mikhail Chkhikvishvili traveled out of the USA, but Interpol was eventually able to arrest him. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison for incitement to violent crime.
