After "My Fair Lady" (premiere on July 11), general director Alfons Haider is focusing on a musical smash hit with the hits of the Bee Gees next year at Lake Neusiedl. The 1977 dance film "Saturday Night Fever" once made John Travolta a star.

At the moment, the lake stage in Mörbisch is so green that from July 11, everything will revolve around the flower girl Eliza, who will be fishing for Professor Higgins every evening. Rehearsals are in full swing these days - as with "Mamma Mia!", "My Fair Lady" is also attracting crowds and several additional performances have already been scheduled.

General Director Alfons Haider, who presented next year's production yesterday, is therefore completely satisfied: it will be hotter than hot on Lake Neusiedl, as the musical hit "Saturday Night Fever" with the hits of the Bee Gees dances brightly colored and full of glitter, including skin-tight pants, platform shoes, shirts with psychedelic patterns, sparkling overalls and extravagant blow-dry hairstyles in Mörbisch.

The 1977 dance film "Saturday Night Fever" made John Travolta a star and earned him an Oscar nomination, while the Bee Gees song "Stayin' Alive" became a worldwide disco hit.
