Magna billionaire Stronach in custody again

Magna billionaire Frank Stronach (91) has been charged with eight further offenses in Canada, including sexual assault. According to the police, he was arrested again on Wednesday.

"Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit, have identified additional victims and further charges have been laid," a police spokesperson was quoted as saying in an emailed statement to CBC News.

Police did not specify which years the additional allegations stem from. A Peel Regional Police spokesperson declined to say how many other alleged victims may be involved or where Stronach, who was born in Kleinsemmering, Styria, was arrested Wednesday.

According to the AP news agency, Stronach's Canadian lawyer Brian Greenspan denies the allegations, which date back to 1977, on behalf of his client. Stronach has dedicated his life to improving Canadian society and industry.
