18 e-bikes embezzled and hemp plants stashed away

A 38-year-old Tyrolean turned out to be particularly brazen. The man is said to have not only embezzled 18 rented e-bikes in the Jenbach area (Schwaz district), but also stashed around 200 cannabis plants. Now he has apparently been caught.

"The 38-year-old is suspected of embezzling 18 rented e-bikes in 2023 and 2024," according to the police. The man was supposed to collect the bikes from various businesses on behalf of his employer. However, 17 e-bikes have disappeared and have not yet been found.

Man faces several charges
One was seized during a house search at the man's residence in Silz (Imst district). But that was not the only thing the officers discovered. They also came across almost 200 cannabis plants. The 38-year-old will now be charged.
