The 23 districts of the capital present a diverse picture. Here, metropolis meets recreational area, Viennese municipal buildings meet magnificent Wilhelminian-style villas or small dog-walking areas meet even more extensive parks. To a certain extent, Vienna is a city of extremes, between whose urban canyons normal life takes place in all its facets.
