Drunk driver (62) causes accident with truck and flees

A 62-year-old Romanian almost hit the end of a traffic jam with his truck on the Tauern highway near Flachau. He veered the vehicle to the left and crashed into the guard rails. He then continued his journey undeterred.

Another road user reported the incident to the police. A patrol finally stopped the Romanian. The alcohol test showed over two per mille. The 62-year-old's driver's license and vehicle keys were confiscated. He was reported to the police.
