When the summer sun drives the thermometer to record highs, smartphones, tablets, and laptops suffer too—and not just in an overheated car. Components can be damaged at temperatures as low as 35 degrees Celsius and in direct sunlight—in addition to the display, casing, and plastic parts, which can become permanently deformed, this applies especially to the battery.
