Conditions at the thermal baths are “disgusting”

"My heart bleeds!" complains a guest at the Römertherme Baden. He has been visiting the baths in the spa town for many years. But the current "conditions" in the checkroom area annoy the Lower Austrian beyond measure.

Some locker doors are missing and are "standing around" randomly, which means they cannot be used, the guest critically describes: "As a bathing guest, I am embarrassed by these conditions!" Other visitors have also made negative comments.

Römertherme Baden is currently still in full operation before the sauna and bathing area and the fitness center close for two weeks. This is because the annual maintenance shutdown will take place from Monday, June 24 to July 7.

Replacement during the lockdown
The Römertherme is aware of the situation with the checkroom lockers, according to an inquiry: "At our insistence, the municipality will replace at least some of the lockers this year during the lockdown." Badener Kurbetriebsgesellschaft is only the operator. The replacement of the checkroom lockers is the responsibility of Badener Bäderbetriebsgesellschaft.

In order to increase customer satisfaction, a new locking system will also be installed - it should then be possible to book admission online. "After the opening in July, the boxes will be replaced or at least repaired," assures the thermal baths.
