Rider and horse crash head-on into an obstacle

A terrible accident at a horse show in Germany: a jockey and his horse crashed head-on into an obstacle at the riding days in Mücke-Atzenhain.

The German Sebastian Lind was riding in the medium (M) class of show jumpers on Saturday when the fatal accident occurred at obstacle 10.

Lind's horse did not start to jump as planned, but cleared the obstacle. The rider could no longer hold on, fell off his horse and crashed into a piece of wood.

Miraculously, both Lind and his horse were uninjured.
