Austria's European Championship opponents Poland are worried about star striker Robert Lewandowski. In the 2:1 (1:0) test match against Turkey, the goal scorer left the field in the 32nd minute with a leg injury. 

Goalscorer Karol Swiderski also had to be replaced early in Poland's European Championship dress rehearsal. 

Poland, Red-White-Red's opponents on June 21, took the lead in Warsaw through Swiderski in the 12th minute. However, the goalscorer was to bitterly regret his subsequent jubilation. The striker, who most recently played for Hellas Verona, twisted his ankle as he was coming on and had to be replaced. As if that wasn't enough, the assist was scored around a quarter of an hour later. FC Barcelona legionnaire Lewandowski grabbed his leg in his 150th international match and went off.

Turkey, also represented at the European Championships, equalized through Baris Alper Yilmaz (77'), but left the pitch as losers after a fine solo run and goal by Nicola Zalewski in the final minute. However, the victory could cost the Poles dearly. Following Arkadiusz Milik's knee injury, they face the threat of the next high-profile losses in attack.

The Poles face the Netherlands (June 16), Austria (21st) and France (25th) in Group D.
