Cardiac arrest! Drama in the team of Superbowl champions

Dramatic incident during training for Superbowl champion Kansas City Chiefs: During a special teams meeting, defensive end Brandon Thompson Jr. suffered an epileptic seizure and then cardiac arrest!

Luckily for Thompson, who was on the club's premises in Kansas City, the Chiefs' medically trained staff were quickly on the scene and were able to give the 25-year-old football player important first aid.

After receiving first aid on site, Thompson was taken to a nearby hospital and his condition is said to be stable. However, no further details are available at the moment ...

Head coach Reid cancels media appointments
Players, coaches and officials at the Chiefs seem to have been shocked by the emergency - all team activities were canceled for Thursday, and head coach Andy Reid also canceled a number of media appointments.

Thompson was selected by the Chiefs in the fifth round at number 166 in the 2023 NFL Draft, but only played once in the regular season last season.
