Knife attacks, brawls, threats - politicians must finally act to protect society from the black sheep among immigrants, our readers demand.

So many immigrants in Vienna only want what everyone else wants: work, a roof over their heads, peaceful coexistence. However, as the latest news - not only from Mannheim, but also from Reumannplatz - shows: Unfortunately, not everyone is like that.

"They have no business here"
As part of our major integration series, most of our readers only know one solution if a refugee commits a crime: "Criminal immigrants should be deported immediately!" writes Hermann Sch. "Deport criminals immediately, they have no place here," says M. R.

Parents should be held accountable
Wolfgang N. puts it like this: "A general ban on weapons for refugees. Anyone fleeing from threats and war does not need to be armed in Austria." And Eva F. has considered this approach: "In the event of violations by minors, such as the carrying of weapons during lessons, which must be randomly checked by the police, parents lose their entitlement to child benefit for a year."

"Krone" reader Helga R. is backing an information campaign: "Mandatory education about the unauthorized use of weapons - many migrants come from countries where the law of the jungle really does apply."
