Vienna: Glass bowl thrown at girlfriend (48)

A man (59) attacked his wife (48) in an apartment in Vienna-Favoriten on Saturday afternoon because of a difference of opinion.

The situation between the two escalated at around 4.15 pm after his partner (48) had borrowed their son's car. Shortly afterwards, the suspect grabbed a glass bowl and threw it at the victim. He also threatened to kill his girlfriend.

Not confessing
The police officers who were alerted arrested the 59-year-old for the time being and banned him from entering the premises and approaching the victim, as well as banning him from carrying weapons for the time being. He did not confess during questioning. He will be charged at large.
