Drunk driver crashes into fence and street lamp

A Lungau man (31) had a wild drink-drive on Friday evening in Tamsweg: The 31-year-old drove his car into a fence and a street lamp. He reported the crash to the police, but passed it off as a wildlife accident. The officers caught up with him.

The police discovered vehicle parts at the scene of the accident. The subsequent breathalyzer test revealed that the 31-year-old had had a lot to drink: 1.2 per mille. The officers confiscated the local man's driver's license and he will also be charged.
