Austria Comic Con: Total pop culture alarm in Wels

Madness! At 8.30 a.m., the queue of people in front of Hall 21 at the Wels exhibition grounds stretched almost as far as the street before the gates opened shortly before nine and the hundreds of meters long throng of Jedis, Marvel heroes, Super Marios, elves, orcs and more stormed the Austria Comic Con presented by the "Krone".

Some came to get autographs from their idols - James Marsters ("Buffy"), Ruth Connell ("Supernatural"), David Mazouz, Sean Pertwee (both "Gotham") and Bai Ling ("Red Corner") are still making an appearance today -, played pinball and arcade machines, while others looked over the shoulders of the admirable comic artists or simply stocked up on new fan material at one of the countless merchandise stands.

Dust off posters and movie tickets!
The "Dinosaur Special" with T-Rex, raptors, Brachio and other dinosaurs was also particularly impressive. And at the "Krone" stand? There are posters and movie vouchers for the film "Furiosa: A Mad Man Saga" to be won.
