Presumably stolen bicycles discovered in Busch

A witness had observed two male youths riding bicycles towards the nearby railroad tracks in Braunau several times around noon on Friday. In the evening, he found ten bicycles hidden in bushes near the tracks. The owners are now being sought.

The witness had observed the two youths riding bicycles from Laabstraße towards the railroad tracks several times. When he looked around the area in the evening, he found ten bicycles that had obviously been hidden in the bushes.

In addition to the suspected thieves, the police are also looking for the rightful owners of the bicycles as part of the investigation.

• a KTM brand bicycle, frame color pink/purple
• a Staiger brand bicycle, frame color dark blue
• one KTM (IKEA) bicycle, frame color yellow/blue
• one Nishiki brand bike, frame color silver/pink/black
• one Street Comfort brand bicycle, frame color blue/silver
• one KTM brand bicycle, frame color black/white
• one Nakita brand bike, white/grey
• one Miles brand bike, purple/yellow
• one bicycle of unknown make, brown leather seat and brown handles, frame color black

The police are asking possible owners to contact the Braunau police station on 059133/4200-100.
