How quickly affection can turn into hatred was once again demonstrated by a case before the Innsbruck Regional Court. Particularly brazen: a German man (40) living in Tyrol is said to have published fake profiles including a nude photo of his sexual partner on Facebook and Instagram.

The accused did not want to talk about love when recalling the time he and a South American-born woman spent together. "Our relationship was reduced to sex," emphasized the 40-year-old.

Reason for defamation unclear
However, the defendant was unable or unwilling to answer why he then stalked his alleged playmate on the internet, published fake profiles with a nude photo and constantly tried to tell her family that she was allegedly a prostitute.
