Police pull drunk drivers out of traffic

Two drivers in the Salzburg region have lost their driving licenses after driving under the influence of alcohol. One was driving with a blood alcohol level of 2.16, the other with 1.54.

On Saturday afternoon, a 60-year-old man from Lungau was stopped by the police in the Tamsweg area. The breathalyzer test carried out showed a value of 2.16 per mille. The police also intervened in Uttendorf and stopped a 47-year-old man from Pinzgau with a blood alcohol level of 1.54. Both drivers had to produce their driving licenses.

Both drivers had to surrender their driving licenses on the spot and were not allowed to continue their journey.
