More guest gardens and one more day at the festival

Only 43 days to go until the second edition of Lido Sounds! The music festival at the Linz fairgrounds from June 27 to 30 will last one day longer this year. The demand for tickets is increasing rapidly. But music fans can also look forward to new features in the area. 

Last year, the pop and rock event Lido Sounds at the Linz fairgrounds thrilled 66,000 spectators.

The second edition will be extended by one day: Kings of Leon and The Kooks will perform at the Gastein Infinity Opening (June 27). This will be followed by three days with headliners such as Parov Stelar, Deichkind, Kraftklub and Gossip - we have already reported on this. Other newcomers include the passionate bathrobe wearer "Loop Daddy" Marc Rebillet from Dallas as well as Bukahara and Ikkimel.

Each festival day serves different genres, which is why there are both day tickets and packages. How are sales going? "It's picking up every week," says organizer Arcadia Live when asked by Krone. In general, the "trend is towards short-term ticket purchases and less towards Early Bird tickets".

The feel-good factor at the site will be increased because "this year there will be significantly more shaded areas - in the public area and along the banks of the Danube. We can also incorporate this area into the design of our own guest gardens, which will create additional seating opportunities," says Arcadia. There will once again be multi-way admission and special trains via ÖBB and OÖVV on long-distance and local services.
