How important is good teamwork to you?

From time to time, we all have to work together as a team, whether in the family or at work. Good teamwork is the foundation of successful projects. Ideally, it brings together different skills and perspectives. If the atmosphere is right and people work well together, this creates an environment in which everyone can make the most of their individual strengths. What are your experiences with teamwork?

However, teamwork can sometimes be exhausting, for example when the workload is unevenly distributed. Then it often seems as if team stands for "Great, someone else is doing it". Of course, that's not how it should work. 

What are your best tips for working well together as a team? How do you generally define "good teamwork" and what is particularly important to you?
