In Burgbernheim (Bavaria), an 18-year-old allegedly shot his father (54) while hunting (see video above). The young man has already handed himself in to the police, but the case remains mysterious.

On Wednesday, walkers found the body of butcher Claus from Ludwigsburg (Baden-Württemberg) near a pond near Burgbernheim. His son Niels informed his mother about the incident and she called the police. The investigators assume that the crime was intentional and arrested the 18-year-old.

According to Bild, it is still unclear under what circumstances Claus died. Niels had thrown a weapon into the pond. Divers have already found the gun and another one in his car. According to the public prosecutor's office, one shot was fired. Which of the two is the murder weapon is now being investigated.

Several days after the crime, traces of blood are still visible where the body was found. For example, a snail with traces of blood was discovered crawling through an adjacent meadow. The motive for the crime is still unclear. The young man is in custody and remains silent.
