Boston advances to the play-off quarter-finals

The Boston Bruins were the last team in the East to reach the second play-off round in the North American Ice Hockey League (NHL) on Saturday.

The Bruins won the decisive game in the "best of seven" series against the Toronto Maple Leafs 2:1 after overtime.

The match was tied 1-1 going into overtime. Unlike last time, the hosts won this one. The Czech David Pastrnak scored his team's lucky goal in the second extra minute. In the quarter-finals, the Bruins will face the Florida Panthers, who they lost to last year.
