Bayern champions with Zadrazil and Naschenweng
FC Bayern Munich's women's soccer team are German champions for the sixth time ahead of schedule. Thanks to the 2:1 win at Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, the team of Austrians Sarah Zadrazil and Katharina Naschenweng can no longer be displaced from the top spot in the last two games.
The Munich side, who successfully defended their title from the previous year, can continue their unbeaten season from 2015.
37 games unbeaten
They are unbeaten in 37 league games across the season since the 2-1 defeat at perennial rivals VfL Wolfsburg on October 23, 2022. VfL will also be their opponents in the cup final in Cologne on Thursday.
Salzburg's Sarah Zadrazil played in the win in Leverkusen, while Carinthia's Katharina Naschenweng was substituted in the 71st minute.
