Two children and women injured in car accident

A serious accident occurred early Friday evening in the district of Güssing in Burgenland. Two children and two women were injured in the crash.

Two children and two women were injured as occupants of vehicles in a traffic accident on the B57 in Rauchwart (district of Güssing) on Friday afternoon. Two cars collided shortly before 5 p.m. for unknown reasons.

To hospital by emergency helicopter
The Rauchwart and Stegersbach fire departments, an emergency helicopter and several ambulances were deployed. The injured were taken to hospital, it was also reported. The main road had to be closed for an hour for the clean-up work and traffic had to be diverted locally.
