Kogler and Rangnick push for national stadium construction

Austria's soccer team boss Ralf Rangnick discussed political and sporting issues with Sports Minister Werner Kogler during a one-hour meeting in Vienna on Tuesday - and once again emphasized the need for a national stadium. 

With regard to a new national stadium, both were of the opinion that such a project should be driven forward quickly and with vigor together with the City of Vienna. This was announced by the Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, the Civil Service and Sport in a press release.

It is questionable how long Rangnick will continue as ÖFB team manager, as he is currently being courted as the successor to Thomas Tuchel at FC Bayern Munich in the summer.
