Cyclist grazes tunnel wall and falls

Because he went too far to the right on his bike in a sloping underpass, a cyclist grazed the tunnel wall and crashed. He suffered serious injuries, partly because he was not wearing a helmet. The cyclist was taken to hospital after receiving emergency first aid.

At around 5 pm, a Hungarian citizen from Linz (46) was riding his mountain bike in Steyregg. At the B3 underpass, he veered too far to the right at the sloping tunnel entrance, grazed the tunnel wall and crashed.

Riding without a helmet
The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries. The ambulance and emergency medical team treated the casualty on site and then took him to hospital.
