Innsbruckathlon: Kids take on the challenge
Not only adults will be battling their way through the Innsbruckathlon on June 28. Hundreds of children and young people will also be tackling this very special obstacle course.
When Innsbruck's city center is transformed into an obstacle course of a special kind at the purora Innsbruckathlon on June 28, the juniors are not to be missed. Just like last year, when hundreds of youngsters tackled the two-kilometre course from the event arena at the Landestheater, a varied challenge awaits all children aged eight to 15 this year too. The young athletes face eleven obstacles in three age groups and can look forward to an exciting adrenaline rush. Climbing and balancing hurdles have to be mastered on the long way to the finish.
There is a special treat for all youngsters this year. Everyone will receive a "Flip Lab" combined ticket worth 24 euros for one hour of jumping fun. In addition, all participants will receive the coveted finisher medal on arrival at the finish line.
