National Council election
Thomas Spalt enters the race as the FPÖ’s number 1 candidate
Thomas Spalt from Feldkirch will be the top candidate for the FPÖ Vorarlberg in the National Council elections in the fall. Spalt has been a member of the National Council since 2022 and will continue to represent Vorarlberg's interests in Vienna in the future.
Behind Spalt in second place on the state list is Manuel Litzke from Bludenz. Litzke is the regional chairman of the Freedom Youth and is set to become a member of the National Council as the "strong voice of Vorarlberg's youth".
More money to live on
"Together with the population, we want to overcome the black-green disaster government and ensure positive change for our country," said Spalt with regard to his goals. The Freedom Party wants people to have more money to live on again, and housing in particular should become affordable again. "We want to make Austria and Vorarlberg safe and we want to stop the irresponsible black-green asylum policy and immigration into our social system," said Spalt.
Manuel Litzke is also pursuing similar goals. "It is young people and families in particular who are suffering greatly from the measures of the black-green government policy," he says. He cites massive coronavirus restrictions on freedom, price explosions and record crime rates in the country as examples.
