Klosterneuburg and Graz 2:0 ahead in the quarterfinals

Basic round winners Klosterneuburg Dukes and UBSC Graz took a 2-0 lead in the "Best Of Five" quarter-final series of the Men's Basketball Super League on Tuesday! 

The Lower Austrians defeated the Kapfenberg Bulls 90:76 at home, just as they did away at the weekend, while the Styrians won 76:69 at home after a narrow away win against Flyers Wels. The remaining two duels are tied 1:1 and will go to at least a fourth game.

The Traiskirchen Lions bounced back from their surprising opening defeat against St. Pölten with a convincing 80-61 win on the road and now have home court again on Thursday. The Oberwart Gunners, on the other hand, have equalized at home, with the Burgenland side mostly in control against the Gmunden Swans in an 82-76 win.

While these two series will not be decided until the weekend at the earliest, Klosterneuburg and Graz could enter the semifinals on Thursday.
