Billie Eilish performs in “Fortnite Festival”

Pop star Billie Eilish takes to the virtual stage in the video game "Fortnite". The 22-year-old US-American is taking part in the third season of "Fortnite Festival", as the game manufacturer Epic Games announced on Tuesday. 

In the game, players can perform songs by pop stars on stage - preferably to the beat of the music - using the "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band" principle and customize the appearance of their game character to match the look of the pop star.

For Eilish, who is set to release her third album "Hit Me Hard and Soft" on May 17, it should be welcome marketing.

A post by the musician about her Fortnite appearance on the platform X, formerly Twitter, sparked enthusiasm among many fans.
