Chiefs extend contract with coach Andy Reid

The Kansas City Chiefs have extended the contract with head coach Andy Reid and have also retained other key figures in their success.

The Super Bowl winners announced on Monday that the extension with Reid, President Mark Donovan and General Manager Brett Veach would secure the "long-term leadership of the team".

Chiefs want to make history
The Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, won their third Super Bowl in the last five years in February. If they win again next season, it would be the first time in the history of the National Football League that a team has won the championship three years in a row.
