Wr. Neustadt aims for “final dahoam”

Wr. Neustadt's table tennis aces go into the semi-final duel with Salzburg with a broad chest. In the past, they have always had the upper hand in decisive matches against the team from Mozart's city. Head of Sport Franz Gernjak: "The final is on Sunday in our hall, we have to be there." 

After their historic podium finish in the Champions League Final 4 in Saarbrücken, Wr. Neustadt's table tennis aces are aiming for the next coup - namely the double! The cup winners will host Salzburg in the league on Tuesday (18:30). Before the return match in the city of Mozart awaits on Wednesday (18:00). Where Frane Kojic & Co. were defeated 1:4 in the first round. But boss Franz Gernjak is not in awe: "They have a very good team and are certainly a lot stronger than last year. But? "When it matters, we're there, we've always had the upper hand against Salzburg."

Confirms the past. Wr. Neustadt defeated the visitors in the league final two years ago and in the cup final this season.
