Drunk driver looks at cell phone and ends up in ditch

Drunk and playing around with his cell phone: A 21-year-old caused a serious accident on the Packer Bundesstraße on Saturday. 

A 21-year-old from Carinthia was driving his car while drunk on Friday night. The young man was driving on the Packer Bundesstraße in the St. Gertraud area and was looking at his cell phone. Suddenly the accident happened and the drunk driver from the Wolfsberg district left the road, drove 150 meters down a ditch and came to a stop. 

The drunk driver was injured and taken to hospital. According to the police, he was responsive. An alcohol test revealed a moderate level of alcoholization.
