Focus check
Police confiscated four drivers’ licenses
During an alcohol and narcotics focus check by the Vorarlberg police, officers caught several impaired drivers.
During a priority check by the police on Friday afternoon and evening in the districts of Feldkirch and Bludenz, police officers caught several drivers who were under the influence of various substances.
For example, one person's driving license was confiscated on the spot due to an alcohol level of over 0.8 per mille. Three other drivers also had to surrender their licenses as they were suspected of being under the influence of narcotics.
License plates taken away
Two drivers who had between 0.5 and 0.8 per mille alcohol in their blood were also banned from driving. Three people were driving without a license. The officers also removed the license plates from one car because the vehicle could no longer be classified as roadworthy.
