This is how the diving game “Endless Ocean Luminous” plays
On May 2, Nintendo is releasing an unusual new game for its Switch console, which can be used on mobile devices as well as at home on the TV. In "Endless Ocean Luminous", players dive in unexplored waters.
"A huge underwater world full of marine life, hidden treasures and secrets awaits budding divers in 'Endless Ocean Luminous' - which they can explore from May 2, 2024," says Nintendo, describing the meditative new gaming experience.
"Endless Ocean Luminous" is presented in more detail in the large gameplay video: In the diving adventure, players encounter over 500 familiar sea creatures. They hide in shallow coral reefs, steep rock faces and icy waters, whose appearance changes with the changing times of day. In addition, sunken ruins and buried treasures as well as particularly bizarre sea creatures invite exploration.
Subscribers to Nintendo's Switch Online multiplayer service can also dive together, and seasonal multiplayer events will provide variety. Nintendo also promises extensive character customization options for long-term motivation. The diving adventure will be released on May 2 for the Nintendo Switch. Cost: 50 euros.
