Nagelsmann decision in the next few days
Will coach Julian Nagelsmann return to FC Bayern? Now his advisor Volker Struth has spoken out and announced: "That will be decided in the next few days. That will be decided soon. In the next five, six, seven days."
The talks between Nagelsmann and Bayern are therefore on the home straight. However, other clubs are also keen to have the current national team coach. "It would be complete nonsense to say that we're not talking to interested parties. Without wanting to say who the interested parties are. I can only say that it's not just Bayern Munich. That's normal. That's my job and it would be a bit of a joke on the media if you said we weren't in talks," said Struth in the "Spielmacher" podcast.
Advice from the consultant
Nagelsmann himself has announced that he will make a decision by April, his advisor recalls. When asked what he would advise the 36-year-old coach, Struth replied: "To do what inspires him the most, where he believes that this is the right place at the right time, where his gut feeling is that he has the most arguments in his favor."
In the summer, Nagelsmann will attack with the German national team at the home European Championships. Until then, fans will know where he will be heading after the major event.
