In East Tyrol on Saturday afternoon, a motorcyclist (23) disregarded the police's stop signs and sped off. The officers were finally able to stop the biker. Among other things, his "sticker" had expired.

At around 3 p.m., officers from Lienz police station carried out driver and vehicle checks on the Drautalstraße. "An initially unknown motorcyclist disregarded the stop signs and fled at a very high speed," said the police. The speeding motorcyclist was able to flee for the time being.

Several charges are pending
However, after further investigations, the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old Austrian, was identified and the motorcycle used was checked. "It was discovered that, among other things, the inspection sticker on the vehicle had expired and the wing mirrors were missing," said the police. The man will be charged.
