For National Council elections
Green quartet from Upper Austria finalized
The Greens of Upper Austria completed their list for the National Council elections at their state assembly in Vorchdorf on Saturday. They had already elected Agnes Prammer, member of parliament and Leonding city councillor, as their top candidate in mid-October.
Following in second to fourth place are MP David Stögmüller, Gmunden Deputy Mayor Ulrike Feichtinger and MP Ralph Schallmeiner. There are currently four Greens from Upper Austria in the National Council.
The former mayor of Ottensheim and member of parliament Ulrike Böker is leaving the National Council at the end of the legislative period. The 67-year-old did not stand for election.
Ten candidates
The list comprises a total of ten candidates, places five to ten were only elected in the afternoon. Club chairwoman Sigrid Maurer emphasized once again at the state assembly that the election was "not only decisive for the direction, but also for the system". "We have heard enough about what an alleged People's Chancellor Kickl has planned for this country. Orban's Hungary is the blueprint," she said.
Some of the other parties have also already decided on their state lists for the National Council elections.
