Motionless on the slopes – now the ski lady is speaking out
After her horror crash at the Swiss Ski Championships, Nicole Good has come forward with some positive news. "I'm doing very well under the circumstances," said the 26-year-old, who crashed after around 17 seconds of skiing in the Super-G in Davos at the weekend.
When she fell in a right-hand bend, she hit her head hard on the piste and may have lost consciousness. In any case, after the impact, the Swiss skier slid without any body tension towards the edge of the track, where she lay motionless. The diagnosis: a concussion as well as fractures and abrasions in the facial area.
"Thank you for all the kind messages"
After the dramatic scenes, Good has now spoken out via Instagram story. She is doing very well, given the circumstances: "Thank you for all the kind messages." And she adds a photo from her hospital bed.
Fortunately, she did not suffer any serious brain injuries in her wild crash. The athlete did not require an operation. Luck in misfortune for the Swiss ...
