After uproar: No rental agreement for “Bandidos”
An offshoot of the notorious motorcycle club will not be moving into a former business premises in St. Pölten after all. The landlord backed out at short notice after a lot of commotion.
"I really didn't think anything negative about it," says the retired entrepreneur, who had almost rented out his business premises to members of the notorious motorcycle gang "Bandidos". But after a "Krone" report and the associated commotion in the St. Pölten district of Stattersdorf, his phone rang off the hook.
We know that the "Bandidos" want to set up shop in St. Pölten and will continue to monitor the situation closely.

The only logical consequence for him is to terminate the tenancy agreement before it has even started. "I actually just wanted a tenant with whom things would go smoothly. And I didn't rent to the 'Bandidos', but to a club where I know someone personally," explains the man.
The fact that he withdrew from the contract was not taken amiss, as he emphasizes: "They were really nice people, they were understanding." He will reimburse them for the investments they have already made, and they still have just under 14 days to pack their things. After that, he wants to try again to rent out the 160 m² premises. "But certainly no longer to a club, but to an industry that operates during the day."
